Full course description
Course description
Drone imaging is an efficient way to monitor agricultural fields and promote sustainable farming practices. Image sensors mounted on drones enable precision agriculture applications such as yield monitoring and the precise application of water, fertilisers, and pesticides. The detailed information acquired from drones can also support the early detection of crop stress and diseases, enabling timely interventions and minimising losses. Overall, drone-based imaging offers.
This course introduces the basic concepts and methods for monitoring and assessing agricultural fields and experimental plots using aerial images acquired by drones.
