Full course description
This is an online self-study education, i.e. without live lectures. Your knowledge is examined by completing the online self assessments after each module.
This part of the Laboratory Animal Science course is focused on using hydroacuostics and trawls for surveying wild fish populations. This method is a European standard and differs quite a lot from using animals in captivity (in laboratories).
The method means that you sample (catch) the fish with trawls, using gears designed for this purpose. Some trawl hauls are done in order to complement the counting of fishes done by use of hydroacoustic; this also cover by this course.
